Theatercaféen is part of Hotel Continental, a five-star hotel and a member of The Leading Hotels of the World. The restaurant sits inside a historic building that has been run by the same family for four generations. It is a must-visit if you want to experience one of Oslo’s landmark dining rooms or if you are planning a special event. It remains one of my favourite places to enjoy a celebratory dinner with friends and family.

The menu offers a modern interpretation of classic dishes, drawing inspiration from French brasserie traditions. The desserts are particularly impressive — some of the best in Oslo — with a strong focus on contemporary techniques and refined flavour combinations.
