Trenaby (“we,” “us,” or “our”) is developed by Eatbyle. This Privacy Policy explains how Trenaby handles your information. We built Trenaby with privacy at its core — your data stays on your device.

Data We Collect
Short answer: We don’t collect your data.
Trenaby is a local-first app. All your information — workouts, exercise history, food logs, calorie data, preferences, and settings — is stored exclusively on your device using Apple’s on-device storage. We do not operate servers, databases, or cloud infrastructure that receive your data.
On-Device Data
The following data is created and stored locally on your iPhone:
- Workout data: Routines, exercise history, sets, reps, and session records
- Food & nutrition data: Meal entries, calorie logs, scanned food items, favorites, and custom foods
- Preferences: Daily calorie goals, preferred workout days, language selection, and app settings
- Progress data: Streak counts, weekly/monthly summaries, and chart data
This data never leaves your device unless you explicitly choose to share it (e.g., via iOS sharing features or iCloud backup).
Camera Access
Trenaby requests camera access solely for scanning barcodes and nutrition labels to log food items. Camera data is processed entirely on-device. No images or scan data are transmitted to any server.
Apple Health (HealthKit)
If you choose to enable Health integration in Settings, Trenaby may read and write workout and nutrition data to Apple Health. This data exchange happens locally between Trenaby and the Health app on your device. We never access your Health data remotely. You can disable this integration at any time in the app’s Settings.
Data We Do NOT Collect
- No personal information (name, email, phone number)
- No account or login credentials
- No location data
- No usage analytics or tracking
- No advertising identifiers
- No cookies or web tracking
- No data shared with third parties
- No data transmitted to external servers
Third-Party Services
Trenaby does not use any third-party analytics, advertising, crash reporting, or data processing services. There are no SDKs or frameworks in the app that transmit your data to third parties.
Data Storage & Security
All data is stored on your device using Apple’s secure on-device storage technologies. Your data is protected by your device’s built-in security features, including encryption and your device passcode/biometric authentication.
iCloud Backup
If you use iCloud Backup on your device, Trenaby’s local data may be included in your device backup. This is managed by Apple and subject to Apple’s Privacy Policy. You can manage iCloud Backup in your device’s Settings.
Children’s Privacy
Trenaby does not knowingly collect any personal information from anyone, including children under the age of 13. Since the app does not collect data, there is no children’s data at risk.
Your Rights
Since all your data is stored locally on your device, you have full control:
- Access: All your data is visible within the app.
- Delete: You can delete individual entries within the app or delete all data by uninstalling Trenaby.
- Export: You can share your data using iOS’s built-in sharing features where available.
For users in the European Economic Area (EEA) and Norway, your rights under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) are inherently respected because we do not collect, process, or store your personal data on any server.

Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be reflected on this page with an updated “Last Updated” date. Since we don’t collect your email or contact information, we encourage you to review this page periodically.
